• Payment Information: For paid courses, we collect billing details. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
• Usage Data: We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and analytics purposes.

• We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
• Your name and course completion may be visible to the instructor of a course you are enrolled in.
• Payment processing is handled by our payment partners in accordance with their privacy policies.
• We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Bukwasho and its users.

• We use essential cookies to keep you signed in (an HTTP-only session cookie containing your encrypted authentication token).
• We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
• You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings. This will log you out of Bukwasho.

• Account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
• Learning progress and certificates are retained indefinitely so you can always access your history.
• You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text.
• All communications with Bukwasho are encrypted using HTTPS in production.
• We apply rate limiting and other security measures to protect against unauthorized access.

• Bukwasho is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

• We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Bukwasho after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
